I would like to thank you for your interest in The TAN Company. My name is Todd Beckman and I am the President, CEO and founder of The TAN Company. I became an entrepreneur in 1984 when I purchased a hair salon franchise at the age of eighteen. Two years later, I had my first introduction into the tanning industry when I added tanning equipment. As the public’s desire to have a healthy glow grew strong, so did the popularity of tanning salons. In 1994, I made the decision to focus my efforts entirely on the tanning side of my business and I opened The TAN Company. Our growth was rapid and our success is still strong. What began as an “add-on” to a hair salon, has grown to over 65 independent, single-focus tanning salons operating in 11 states! We are experiencing the fastest growth in the history of our company!

With equipment continually changing and skin care products improving every year, it is imperative to stay informed. It is only as an expert can you satisfy the desires of current and future tanners.
